Bea qualified from the London College of Traditional Acupuncture after three years’ training. She has a Licentiate in Acupuncture and a First Class honours degree (BSc) in Traditional Acupuncture accredited by Portsmouth University and validated by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and therefore bound by their codes of safety and ethics. She carries full professional indemnity, and public liability insurance cover.
She passionately believes that a person’s state of well-being is best viewed from a holistic perspective. Traditional acupuncture is a holistic therapy that works to balance mind, body and spirit. It has been used to stimulate the body’s own healing response for over 2000 years and nowadays more and more people are finding this long established therapy can be a valuable aid to improving their health.
Bea has a wealth of experience in treating muscular disorders, particularly chronic disorders that are complicated with other health issues, working especially well with the physiotherapists in the team to offer patients the most suitable treatment. Her particular area of interest is women’s health and she specialises in menstrual irregularities, fertility, pregnancy and menopause.
